Lovely Antique Silver Plated Salt Cellar, Pepper and Mustard Luncheon Condiment Set, made in 1906 By Elkington. Founded by George Richards Elkington and his cousin, Henry Elkington, in the 1830's in Birmingham, England, the firm became beloved for the fine quality silver and silver plated pieces they made. They received Royal Warrants not just from the British monarchy, but also one from the Austrian monarchy for fine silver.
This luncheon set is charming, it has an open salt, a pepper with lid, and a small mustard pot with silver lid and spoon. The little faceted glass pots are beautifully made, this is such a lovely touch to add to a luncheon or dinner table. Marked on the bottom for Elkington, registry number for 1906-1907.
