Bring a touch of vintage French country style to your home with this French Country Painted Seed Box. This charming piece was found at the flea market, but it isn't all that old. With a classic rectangular silhouette with divided interior compartments, reminiscent of those used by gardeners to organize and store seeds.
Hand painted {by the gardener most likely!} in garden green, with slight wear, subtle variations in color and texture add to its unique character. A clear glass top allows you to showcase little treasures or heirloom seeds inside. Three compartments have French antique seed labels glued to the bottom. The glass is held in place with sliders.
