Antique French Majolica Pansies White Set 4

Antique French Majolica Pansies Lavender Purple, so rare to find in any condition. These purple lavender pansies are in very good condition, especially since they date from the late 1800's very early 1900's. Each one is a little work of art, skillfully hand formed and painted, then fired in a kiln.

Majolica flowers like this were used as a tribute of love on a beloved's grave, there are still a very few to be seen in the Père-Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. I was thrilled to find a few of these in this condition, they are avidly collected and almost never available. Sold per piece. They look beautiful by themselves, or in combination with the white pansies shown in the last photo. Sold as a set of 4. {Last photo shows several grouped together with purple pansies.}
