Madeleine Felted Mouse Ornament

Our Madeleine Felted Mouse Ornament is especially excited for today. Grand-mère has invited her to her house in the woods, and Madeleine is going to help decorate her Christmas tree. She is bringing a huge peppermint candy ornament to hang on the tree, because grand-mère and little Madeleine share a love of candy. {how much candy she eats with grand-mère is a secret!!} Her little whiskers are twitching just thinking about candy!

She's wearing her black and white checked pleated skirt and her new red sweater, the sleeves have gold ribbon tied on because she still has to 'grow' into it a little. Maman has wrapped a scarf around her neck with white pompoms that tickle a little, but is so pretty that it's worth the slight tickling. She even has a matching checked bow tied around her tail. It IS the holiday season after all! She is a delight to top off a special package for someone you love!
