A sweet little gift, this French Tin of Rose Flavored Mints is a delighful candy made since the early 1800's in the medieval village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, France. Made with three all natural ingredients, a small anise seed is rolled around in sugar made from beets, until each is the shape of a little snowball.
Called an exceedingly good sweet by Flavigny, the rose flavored mints are a favorite for generations, it was the first flavored mint the company produced! A sweet tin with a vintage image, these are a great favor, a little add on for a gift for someone you love, or simply to keep in your purse. My grandmama always had one in her purse for 'emergencies' {like if I scraped a knee and needed a sweet to make it better!} There are about 30 mints per tin.
