Antique French Palais Royal Opaline Glass Egg Pocket Watch Stand, from one of the boutiques at the old Palais Royal, palace of Cardinal Richelieu in Paris. A Grand Tour souvenir from the 1800's, this delicate glass egg casket is supported by a gilt bronze stand that has four elegant curving feet accented with rope detailing.

Inside, the surprise of a place to hang your pocket watch on one side, and all your rings or other jewelry in the other half of the box. Such a treat to add to your collection, the white opaline egg is perfection. Opens and closes well. Also a favorite place for your favorite locket as a display.
