Vintage French Canard Duchene Champagne Bucket

Decorative Canard-Duchêne Champagne Bucket made from aluminum. Has a beautiful paper label of the Champagne house on the front with gilt embellishments and white lettering: CHAMPAGNE Canard-Duchene. Founded in 1868, it is one of the most prominent Houses or Grandes Marquesin Champagne. Classic flat handles on both sides make it easy to carry.

In good vintage condition with surface marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Please view the close up photos: weathered from time on the terrace, with a slight dent to the base and a small area of the front label lifting. Not perfect—this piece has been well used and quietly enjoyed over generations, which only adds to its character. Not mass produced, given to restaurants and hotels for advertising purposes.
