Antique Ironstone Pudding Mold The Queen's Pudding Boiler No. 18, this ironstone mold dates to the late 1800's. Pudding molds like this came in various sizes, it's what the '18' refers to. Prized long ago by cook for making puddings of all sorts that were 'boiled' in a hot water bath in the mold, these days the molds are highly decorative.
The bowl shape makes this a wonderful addition to your collection, use it to display seasonal fruit like apples, or pinecones. There is patina, discoloration and a fine hairline on the bottom as shown, not unusual in hard working pudding molds over 120+ years old. Please only adopt for your collection of amazing kitchen antiques if you love the grace of time.
