Such a charming elegant shape, with a classic spout design an an applied handle that ends in a shell where it joins the pitcher at the top. The handle has a thumb rest, and at the bottom is another rest for your finger, making this such a joy to hold and pour with.
Aside from all the things this beauty could serve at your table, cream for strawberries, milk for your morning cafe au lait, custard sauce for your fruit, even chocolate sauce for ice cream, it makes a gorgeous vase to hold flowers, or serve up antique silverware. Bought in France, dates to the late 1800's, unmarked.
