Decorative Antique French Glass Pharmacie Jar, with antique Pharmacie Bourgoin label. Little neighborhood stores, the French pharmacies sold a variety of products for beauty, soaps, perfumes, cough drops as well as prescription and over the counter drugs. {And still do, they are some of my favorite shops in France.}
The jar is a great size, has a squared shape, and a bakelite or very early plastic deep red lid. Fabulous find, great to display in your kitchen or family room with a collection, or filled with candy. Comes with a deep red screw on lid.
