Wonderful and decorative 19th century Antique French White and Aqua Blue Iron and Brass Balance Scale. This cream scale has soft light aqua blue painted detailing, and remnants of gilt paint. It is a 10 kilo scale made of cast iron. Original, found in the south of France.
The scale has great patina and wear to the paint, with the two original shiny brass weighing trays or plateau with patina as shown. Conversation starting kitchen decor, display in your cuisine, in any French Country setting, or add a French antique to a contemporary home for a pop of personal style.
