A charming small French Country Glazed Pottery Bowl, from the Savoie region of France, the glaze is yellow and mocha and the shape is most enchanting. A beautiful example of the pottery from the region. Hand glazed in a spattered mocha design on the inside, the outside is unglazed, with amazing patina. Little pops of glaze and typical wear to a 100+ year old functional pottery piece.
Traditionally used for food storage or serving in the large and small kitchens in France. A rare to find decorative addition to display in your French Country home or kitchen. This gem has at least a century of life left and makes for a beautiful addition to any pottery collection. Marked 30 on side.
