Gorgeous Antique Majolica Leaf Shaped Plates, a pair from the 19th century, with wonderful colors and shape. The plates have a single green leaf on cream ground with yellow and brown accents. Mottled green, brown and yellow on reverse. The edges are hand painted with the same brown as the stem.
Made in the late 1800's, these are an unusual size, as most of the plates in this design were small butter pats. A lovely pair to add to your antique majolica collection. Sold as a set of 2.
