Beautiful Antique Parian Bisque Porcelain Cherub Holding Horn Figurine, featuring a sweet cherub child with detailed life-like detailing. Parian ware is a type of porcelain produced to imitate carved marble, it could be cast and molded, so that classical figures were affordable by a larger clientele than actual hand carved marble figures. First made by the great companies of Sevres, Minton, Spode, Davenport, and others, the figures adorned dinner tables when dessert was served.
