Charming Baby or Child's Cup, this Victorian Christening Cup was made in the late 1800's of triple plated silver. The front has hand chased meadow grasses on the sides of an oblong space meant for monogramming, it remains un- monogrammed. Sweet little cups like this were favored as gifts for a baby's birth or christening.
Condition as shown, made by the Racine SP Co. A lovely addition to your collection, or the beginning of one, if you don't mind the wear, it is slightly out of round. This cup was used and loved by several generations of the same family. Will look amazing displayed with your antique children's books and dolls, bears and toys too. I use my cups to hold little rose bouquets.
