Antique Blue & White Stoneware Basketweave Morning Glory Tankard Pitcher with the loveliest light blue and creamy white color. Made in the 1800's, the embossed background resembles a woven basket of willow canes. A branch, leaves, and morning glory flowers decorate each side.
This pitcher has a rope like applied handle. It's rare to find these in this condition. The usual glazing differences that makes each one of these early pitchers one-of-a-kind, a tiny flake on the bottom as shown.
