Gorgeous hand colored Tea Stand, or Trivet, made by Copeland Spode in England, in the 1930's. Decorative round design in brown transfer with pink, green, blue and yellow, this is from the Byron series, depicting scenes from English rural life. This one is my particular favorite, as it has a dog along with three figures.
Rare to find and very collectable, the tea stand is decorated with grape vines and leaves bordering the central scene. A wonderful addition to your collection, to use daily at tea time, to display with your collection, or to present as a wonderful host or hostess gift to a fellow tea lover.
