The pottery at Sarreguemines was established in 1784, and had great success during the Empire period, Napoleon ordered whole sets of dinnerware and bestowed an honor to the company. Renowned for their fine quality craftsmanship and beautiful intricate designs, this pottery played a significant role in French ceramic artistry during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
