Antique White Leather Bridal Wedding Shoes with Chiffon Roses

A profoundly romantic pair of antique bridal shoes, exquisitely fashioned in fine white leather and adorned with soft chiffon roses at the toes. Their graceful form and refined proportions embody the elegance and restraint of an early 20th century bride, each detail created to complement a moment of lasting significance.

The leather has mellowed over time to a gentle ivory tone, its surface bearing the luminous patina only age can bestow. The chiffon roses remain wonderfully evocative—light, airy, and feminine—capturing the poetry and tenderness associated with historic bridal attire.

With a French flanged Louis heel, with original metal nails, these have been "whitened" over the decades with polish. Original glass buttons are still present-there is aging and scuffing to the heels as shown, as would be expected of a delicate pair of shoes like this. You can re-apply white polish should you wish.

Created for a day of profound meaning, these shoes now endure as rare and moving survivors. They are breathtaking displayed within a bridal vignette, preserved beneath glass, or cherished within a distinguished collection of antique costume and wedding treasures. These come just as we found them with the light pink spanners inside {those date to the 1920's or so} ready to display in your boudoir.

Collector’s Note

Antique bridal shoes adorned with original chiffon embellishments are exceptionally scarce. Their survival offers a deeply personal glimpse into the rituals, craftsmanship, and romance of long ago weddings, making them highly desirable among collectors of historic fashion.
