Antique French Wax Wedding Garland, a stunning find. Made in the early 1900’s, these garlands were used for decorating a church, or perhaps a reception area, for a wedding. Entirely made of pearlized, hand dipped wax, the end piece has a hand blown glass flower.
I was thrilled to find a few of these, because of the wax, these beauties are rare to find these days. Most often they are in a shambles, with melted pieces, and most of the pearlized coating gone. This one is in good antique condition. Consider using one of these to embellish your antique Madonna or Santos.
