A great Antique Yellow Ware Corn Bread Mold in a rarer to find smaller size with a corn cob on the inside. This is a very early mold, the yellow ware has a luminous golden yellow color. Molds like this were used to make corn bread, but also little corn puddings. A small size, which is unusual, as most were much bigger than this one.
A sweet addition to your collection of molds, to display in your French Country kitchen with your other jelly, pudding and aspic molds. On the bottom it retains a little part of an old newspaper, most likely cook lined her pantry shelves with newspapers. The color is a rich dark golden ochre yellow.
