Beautiful Antique Yelloware Bowl with Cream Stripes, hand thrown on a potter’s wheel and hand glazed. Such a lovely color, like drying sunflowers in the Provence! Bowls like this are avidly collected, they were originally made in England and Scotland in the early 1800’s, later they were ‘re-produced’ in the USA. This bowl is a great shape, size and color, the cream bands indicate it was most likely made in the mid 1800’s- late 1800’s.
In wonderful antique condition without cracks or chips, inside you can see that this bowl worked for a living, there is discoloration and wear from many uses. A wonderful bowl for your collection, in a fabulous color, display this beauty with pride in your French Country home!
