Let’s wander through the winding streets for Shopping the Marais, Paris, today. I’ll share some of my favorite little shops and introduce you to our newest French jewelry collection that’s just arrived from a Parisian artist jewelry maker I discovered there!
Shopping the Marais, Paris
The Marais has small, narrow streets lined with historic shopfronts that are home to independent small shops, vintage stores, apothecaries, art galleries and bistros. Here are a few must visit shops when you’re there.
BINICI
18 Rue Chapon, 75003 Paris
Stop at this patisserie for one of their delicious desserts {their specialty is beautiful genoise sponge cakes} and coffee or tea early on. They have daily bakes, it will be a major decision to choose just one, as they are all so beautiful to look at and scrumptious to eat! {You’ll be walking everywhere all day, so don’t worry about calories!!}

21 Rue Saint-Paul, 75004 Paris
A magical shop filled with beautiful, fun and quirky antique and vintage pieces. Literally packed to the rafters with an ever changing array of things to take home as a special and meaningful souvenir. If you miss the flea markets, you can pick up some wonderful things here!
MUSKHANE
3 Rue Pastourelle, 75003 Paris
A delightful homewares shop featuring beautiful hand made felted wool decorative home goods including rugs, pillows, baskets, children’s slippers and more. The shop is run by Thierry and Valérie who developed a relationship with the craftsmen of Nepal while on a mission in Kathmandu for Handicap International. You can find the most unusual felted things here, from small little mushrooms to pillows to clothing. Definitely worth a peek! They have adorable slippers in the form of animals for children that your little people will adore.

This destination store in a 19th century building once occupied by a wallpaper and furniture fabrics business occupies the whole building and resembles a big house. You can shop for home, yourself, eat lunch, have tea or coffee, and find inspiration in books at the Used Book Café. The windows have been repurposed to house the Used Book Café and Ciné Café. From the garden level (where you will find hardware, practical cookware, La Cantine and its vegetable garden), to the first floor (furniture, lighting, stationery, bathroom accessories and household linen) and the ground floor (women’s fashion, men’s fashion and accessories), it almost feels like home.
NEW FRENCH JEWELRY COLLECTION
While shopping the Marais, I found a line of jewelry I loved. Loved. Made by Parisian artist Véra who designs and makes jewelry in her Parisian workshop with semi precious stones and meaningful symbols such as hearts and ex votos. She sources the different charms and parts of her jewelry in Europe {where they are made} then gold plates and assembles her unique jewelry pieces in France. Her collection of jewelry is charm inspired and has contemporary talismans based on antique symbols for collecting and mixing in layers.
We just got our first shipment, and many of my very favorite necklaces are almost already sold out after being on the website for a few days. Because they are very chic, Parisian, and produced in a limited series that can’t be found anywhere else. It’s the perfect complement to our Aristocrat Muse Jewelry Collection.
