One of Paris’ prettiest flower shops, FRAGRANCE is close to the Place de République, in the 11th arrondissement. Right from the start, the outside of the shop will take your breath away! Painted the softest most lovely hue of green, this original shopfront is beyond charming. The windows and the sidewalk in front are filled with benches and crates piled with baskets and buckets full of blooming plants and flowers.
Inside, authentic stone walls and a crazy beautiful colored tiled floor are the perfect backdrop for all the floral beauty the owners create. Stunning fresh flower bouquets as well as dried flowers are wrapped in simple brown kraft paper. {I dare you to buy only one!}
Antique and vintage tables hold more botanical goodness, plants and succulents beautifully potted for gifts. The shop is known for custom bouquets for special events,weddings, baptisms, for flower subscriptions to gift, but also for “re-vegetation” of Parisian balconies and terraces.
Fragrance is know for their floral design style. Preferring wildflowers, blooms with a rural & romantic feeling, the owners of Fragrance enjoy “finding” the perfect blooms 3 times a week at their local flower markets. They favor French locally grown flowers, of course.
Their bouquets are everything you’d think they’d be when in Paris. Fresh, different, but most of all gorgeous!
Fragrance also creates incredibly beautiful bouquets, wreaths, floral crowns and even alphabet letters with a stunning array of dried flowers.
In the back, little cafe tables nestle agains the stone walls that are decorated with dried floral wreaths. It’s the perfect place to sit amongst the delightful beauty and fragrance of all the flowers and enjoy a luxurious cup of tea, and perhaps a decadent treat. The tea salon serves specialty coffees, organic teas, freshly squeezed juice, and a selection of seasonal organic pastries.

wild flowers in flowing arrangements, the small tables to sit a spell and enjoy a tea or coffee, possibly a sweet treat, the beautiful floor that I barely see but know it’s old and well loved. Sigh .
