Wedding Shower Brunch in the Garden

This weekend my daughter and her best friend gave the sweetest Wedding Shower Brunch in our garden.

In the Bride’s colors of Mint Green, Gold and White, everything looked so festive. The weather couldn’t have been better, with the sun shining beautifully on the tables set on the patio and lawn.  The Mimosa Bar was hit, it featured three fruit juices, fresh fruit, and of course, plenty of bubbly.  {This shot, above, was taken before the champagne was added to the white ice container in the middle.} The gold sparkling stir sticks were a fun addition to the table.  The tissue pompoms {made by them} added a fun decoration overhead.

Always a treat, the Dessert Table was full of Mint Green, Gold and Black & White Treats.  I love the Black & White Candy Bags.  Coconut Cupcakes {my daughter’s famous for these!} with Mint Green Frosting rounded out the sweets.  Another fun decoration, the home made hearts punched out, glittered in Gold , and strung on black & white baker’s string.

The Menu:

Curried Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Croissants

Large Cheese Display with Baguettes, assorted Crackers and Marconi Almonds.

Olives, Cheese Straws, and Grapes

Berry Fruit Salad {Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries & Blackberries}

Sweets Table for Desserts

Sauce for Berries:

1. Orange Sauce {mix Vanilla Yoghurt with frozen Orange Juice to taste}

2. Brown Sugar Sauce {Mix Vanilla Yoghurt with Brown Sugar to taste}

{that’s my girl in the purple~aqua dress}

Favors were Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Sticks, packaged in white candy boxes, tied with Black & White Ribbon and topped with a glittered Heart.  It was a beautiful shower!

    Wow! Those girls really went all out, what a gorgeous shower. I love their ideas, the colors too. I am keeping this in mind for any future showers I will be giving. Thanks for the sauce recipe too, trying it this coming weekend for my Mom’s birthday lunch. Olivia
