Wear the history and charm of the early 1900’s, this lovely chatelaine or diary pencil is luxurious and filled with the romance of a past era. Beautiful, one-of-a-kind, the diminutive retractible pencil is hand engraved with flourishes, perfect for taking notes in a diary. The name chatelaine comes from the French word châtelaine and means “mistress of a chateau”.
The pencil’s glowing faceted stem is finished with an ornate twist off top dressed with a purple amethyst capstone. Removing the top, reveals the pencil’s writing graphite storage chamber.
