Small French Opaline Glass Patch Box, with three Cherubs frolicking in clouds on the top. This decoration is transfer, hand painted raised scrolls in white and what is left of gilt decorate the round perimeter. The glass is white opaline, with a soft lavender purple painted background. The box is encased in brass, the hinge and closure work well, this was at one time gilded, though most of this has worn.
