Vintage French Hotel Door Sign Concierge

Vintage French Hotel Door Sign Concierge, once affixed to the office door of the hotel concierge.  In small boutique hotels in France, the concierge was {and still is} both the caretaker as well as the person whose job it is to assist guests by arranging tours, making theater and restaurant reservations, and suggesting where to buy the best wine and macarons.

While the sign in the front lobby of a hotel is most often made of brass, the actual office space of the concierge will often have a sign like this, made of early plastic with red embossed letters. From the brocante, this sign has seen some years, there is wear as shown. There are two holes to affix the sign to a door, or a wall with different size nails. A fun find, especially if you truly are your family's concierge!
