Vintage Gorham Set of 4 Cordial Shots Goblets Cups, marked Sterling Silver HM 955. Each of these beautiful sterling silver shot size cups, in the shape of brandy snifters in miniature, was made by one of the largest makers of sterling, Gorham. Founded in Providence, Rhode Island in the year of 1831 by Jabez Gorham, a master craftsman in partnership with Henry L. Webster. They were famous for high quality coin silver spoons, combs, jewelry, and later large sterling and silver-plated serving pieces.
Each of these goblets is marked on the base with the old Gorham trademark logo stamp as Sterling 955, Each comes in its own protective silver drawstring bag. A fabulous addition to your bar for the holidays, or to gift to a fellow lover of cordials or a shot of top quality bourbon. These are just lovely, classic in style, and simply the best to serve a little “nip” of liqueur after dinner or before the fire to your guests. Rumor has it that savvy Southern hosts serve a ‘Four Horseman’ in these, a drink made with equal parts of Bourbon whiskey, Tennessee whiskey, Scotch whiskey and Irish whiskey. Sold in a set of four. Cheers!
