Beautiful Vintage Brass Marie Antoinette Candy Box featuring an etched design of elegant Marie Antoinette in her hand-carried coach. This box dates to the 1920’s – 1930’s, it was considered a very elegant gift at the time. Made by Schrafft & Sons and filled with the most delicious chocolate truffles. {Sorry, the chocolates are long gone!}
The box is heavy brass, made to be a “keepsake” for the lady who received it. It has a charming rounded shape, and is lined inside the lid and sides with light green satin. A simply elegant addition to your candy box collection, for your secret stash of bonbons, or for your precious jewels on your vanity. The back hinge has discoloration after all these years.
