Vintage Beagle Dog Painting in Art Deco Frame, such a wonderful painted portrait of man’s best friend. {woman’s best friend, too!} A good looking boy, ready to play fetch with his favorite ball and then receive a well deserved snack. Or perhaps he’s ready for the hunt. The painting is in calming colors with a simple green brown back ground, it’s unsigned.
A charming painting, a great smaller size so that it will fit into a gallery wall arrangement, or propped on a shelf in your library surrounded by books and photos of your own favorite dogs. I’ve had Mr. FGH add a new brown paper liner to the back, it retains its original red wire hanger. The frame has patina as shown.
