Rare Antique Pharmacy Bottle Apothecary Glass with Gold Leaf Recessed Label for Plumb:Acet {Lead Acetate}from 1900. The exquisite gold leaf framed label makes this a real collector’s find and adds value, as these are getting extremely rare to find. Until the 1920’s, elegant bottles such as this lined French pharmacy shelves. The label is covered in a separate piece of glass.

In good antique condition, there is a small chip to the neck of the bottle, the glass stopper is original and fits well. There is a fissure in the glass covering the label which does not go to the bottle, as the glass covering the label was fused over the label and is seperate from the bottle. Submerging the bottle in water and any form of heat may dislodge the label as it is held on by an original application of wax. You can see the wax layer if you look through the bottle from the back. A stunning and very decorative find for you home.
