Exceptional Antique French Hand Painted Tole Tray, with a gilt stenciled foliate detail in oval form with a raised, pierced gallery and cut out handles. Collectible French trays like this of this size in this condition are rare to find, this heirloom quality decorative tray has aged well over time. The tray is enamelled in deep rich black, with gilt embellishments, the center is beautifully hand painted with a seascape. I consider this one of the best of its kind.
Wear to the back and sides, the front is in fabulous condition, back has small felt circles applied to protect tray as well as your wall should you want to hang this beauty. Sure to be the star in your antique toleware collection, display this with pride. Measures 19~1/2″ x 14~1/2″ x 1~1/4″.
