This dates to the mid 1800’s, the delicate color and the purity of the elegant form is representative for opal or opaline glass production in France during the reign of Louis Philippe. Gorgeous decorative bulle de savon shaped stopper, original and in excellent condition.
Purchased from an estate collection, carefully kept behind glass doors in an armoire for over a century by the collector, sublime! In fantastic condition, it has rough pontil on the bottom. Lovely coloration, display with your collection of antique French glass.
