Antique Flow Blue Staffordshire Pottery Plate Fall of Montmorenci Near Quebec, made by Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England, 1819-1820. A rare and very collectable plate, this has a beautiful border of shells all around the rim.
This plate is a deep, dark blue, you can see the stilt marks on the front. The discoloration in the photo is the reflection, the glaze is still very shiny after 200 years. A wonderful addition to your collection of antique flow blue.
- Measures 9-1/4″.
