Extraordinary Antique Hand Carved Wood Horse and Rider, with a fine painted surface. Both horse and rider were carved with exceptional skill, with rare attention to features and detail. Original stepped base, with the nicely worn original painted colors of brown, green and green-blue.
The base has two indentations that at one time had something attached, no longer there, the back of the sculpture is flat.
