Antique Hand Carved Gilt Wood Putti or Cherubs made in the 18th Century, in Italy. Each one stands on a decorative square classical column base, they have charming expressions. Patina, showing the red {bole} undercoating through the gold leafing, everything about these is divine.
A fine pair, display with your collection of cherubs, putto and other gilded treasures. Please note wear consistent with age including some gilt loss. Sold as a pair.
