Antique French White Meat or Fish Platter Drain or Drainer oval in shape with a stunning embossed design. A wonderful and decorative platter drain that would be placed on a large platter for the excess juices of the fish or meat to drain into the platter below at the table. There is just a remnant of gilt on the edge on one side. Unmarked, as many of these were. 

Made in the late 1800’s to very early 1900’s, these pristine footed drainers are getting quite rare to find. A fantastic piece to add to your antique French, English and Continental white ware and strainers / drainers collection.
