Collectable Antique French Lavender Purple Enamelware Bougeoir, or Candleholder from the late 19th century. Fabulous rare color, fading from white to lavender purple. Used for decades in France, with charming wear and patina. Modeled in the shape of a clam shell.

Chipped edges, the very top has a touch of hand painted gilt striping to dazzle your eye. The French owner painted part of the rim on the bottom with gold paint.
