Antique Country Footstool with Scalloped Apron and Linen Upholstery has all the charm of French Country decor, and is a wonderful accent to your favorite chair. The carved scalloped apron is especially decorative, the stool has rounded corners, the legs are supported on the inside. Made during the late 19th century to early 20th century, this oak stool features a rectangular seat recovered with a neutral toned linen fabric that compliments the wood grain beautifully. I left this ‘as is’, it’s not new, but still looks very nice.
Leave it as is, or recover it with your favorite Scalamandre fabric or antique needlepoint, this is a a piece that speaks of the coziness and comfort of a French country cottage. So many places to add this to a room in your home, in the living room, the family room, library, or kitchen.
