Antique Chinese Export Bowl in Famille Rose Palette, decorated with floral sprigs and garlands. 18th century porcelain with the graceful garlands of pink roses and green leaves, and intertwining purple rope design that wraps around the inside of the bowl. The top painted band on the inside of the bowl has wear as shown. Inside the bowl, there is a small “addition” a little piece of pottery that was glazed with the bowl and fired.
Famille rose colors are the epitome of elegance, there are four hand painted flowers painted on the outside, one a rose bouquet. In the center of the bowl, at the bottom, is a small delicate floral sprig. The condition is good in that there are no repairs, there is a tight hairline that I noticed once I photographed this beauty. I have priced accordingly, I know you will love to add this lovely bowl to your collection.
