$245.00

Availability: 1 in stock

Antique 1820’s Staffordshire Blue and White Deep Pearlware Glazed Plate, made by Ralph Hall Potteries, of Tunstall, Staffordshire, England.  Crisp transfer-ware design of two young ladies in a garden picking flowers. A scenic view of a river with a sailboat in the background, a large church is visible on the other bank of the water.

The scalloped plate is bordered with an exquIsite design of wild flower bouquets and fanciful ornate designs.    This is a stunning example of early transfer printed pottery. You can see the markings on the back where the plate rested on little cones in the kiln, as you should for pieces of this age. In wonderful condition.

  • Measures 9-7/8″.
