19th Century French Wooden Garden Trug

19th Century French Wooden Garden Trug, hand cut with a bent wood handle. Made in the mid to late 1800’s in France, this wood garden trug was traditionally used in the French countryside for gathering vegetables or flowers from the kitchen garden.

This wood basket or tote has gorgeous patina that only decades of use by a loving gardener can give it. The sides are worn down, and there are old worm holes, as shown. This was treated in France, and again by US customs. Please only adopt this beauty if you can forgive it this.

  • Measures 10-1/2″ x 8″ x 5-1/2″h and 4″ handle.
