Brought to France in the late 1800’s from England by a French family, this Footed Compote Plate has been used for generations for Sunday dinners. Beautiful, and quite rare to find, this polychrome serving stand is a treasure! The Floribel pattern was designed by the famous William A Adderley factory in Stoke on Trent, in 1876. 

Beautifully decorated with floral motifs, butterflies and insects, transfer printed then hand colored, perfection. Please only purchase if you adore antiques with the grace of time, there is a small darkened area as shown.
