Fabulous 19th Century Antique Copper Haystack Measure Pitcher from England. So beautifully made, with that most attractive Mid 19th Century shape. This pitcher has the brazed seam construction. Inside the collar is the traditional Weights & Measures Inspector's Stamp, {pewter colored} authenticating the quart size.
This shape is called Haystack, with a wide rounded body and a shaped pouring spout. The body of the pitcher has a stamped legend for a quart. The bottom is reinforced, the handle is a loop shape. Verification and makers marks on inner rim. A lovely addition to your kitchen, and a sterling addition to your collection of antique copper.
