From a private ephemera collection, this oversized Victorian Christmas scrap image features a beautiful chromolithograph of a little girl with her feet almost in the water on at the sea side. Images like this were often used to illustrate children's stories, but also to advertise for holiday seaside resorts.
Not perfect, there is a darkening on one side of the print which is not very noticeable. The back is blank, you can see it was pasted down at one time. I fell in love with this print mostly for the image of the little girl, it made me remember the joys of family vacations in summer. This is perfect to frame and display with your shells, your children's books and dolls and bears.
