This is an introduction to chemistry and science with a humorous approach to try to demystify this subject for children. So charming, this has 235 pages, and many, many black and white illustrations, most of them small sprinkled throughout the text.
The red cloth cover is very decorative with black and gilt designs and lettering, the corners are bumped. The edges of the pages have gilt, the paper has darkened. A beautiful book to display with your antique French children's book collection.
