Beautiful and enchanting 19th Century Flow Blue Bowl, with decorative stick spatter leaf design on the outside and a feathered design inside the bowl. Made in the mid 1800’s this cafe au lait size bowl was most likely for drinking. A wonderful deep cobalt blue bowl to add to your collection, the pottery piece was decorated by hand.
The footed bowl came from a collector and was displayed with care. The glaze is still very shiny and true. A stunning bowl to use in so many ways, at the table for service, to hold decorative items, serve your favorite chocolates, or to hold French soaps in your guest bath. A work of art to display just as is. Has the firing stilt marks you would expect from a bowl of this age, a few small hairlines that do not go through, and a small glazed over wedge.
