Beautiful decorative Florentine Umbrella Stand, hand made by the master craftsmen in Firenze, or Florence, Italy long ago. The decorative stand has gold gilt over gesso, and hand painted Italian scroll designer detailing in cream and gilt. Bought on a recent buying trip to Europe, a collectable addition to your Florentine wood collection.
Stands on a gold base, the stand basket has six tapering sides. Makes quite a statement in your entrance hall! Is not opposed to being used as an oversized wastebasket in your elegant and chic office, either. A rare find! Very shabby with wear and patina as shown.
