Carved by hand, this authentic wooden bowl was passed down from generation to generation as a family heirloom. Made by a nomadic tribe with very basic tools, bowls like this were used for storing grain, or preparing food. Display this as a decorative work of art, there is patina, wear, and repairs - bowls like this were precious for a people who did not carry much as they traveled. Currently "au courant" with French decorators, the French at one time colonized Morocco.
